The NJAC, New Jersey Athletic Conference, suspended all fall sport contests and championships for the upcoming 2020 fall semester. It plans to move the season to the spring 2021 semester while allowing practice and training during the fall.
Rumors of Wesley College merging with another college were put to rest July 9 when it was announced Wesley College had been acquired by Delaware State University. The acquisition of the 147-year-old institution by DSU left questions for students and staff at both schools.
The NCAA decided to postpone all fall sports athletics until at least until the spring 2021 semester. Wesley’s fall sports, which include football, soccer and field hockey, may keep practicing outside. But practice outside also has limitations.
